When did you join Strength Camp?

- I joined on November 4th, 2020.

Why did you join Strength Camp?

- I joined because the first day I took a class I realized it was a special gym and taking a one-hour class here, with these trainers, would be far more beneficial than spending hours at the gym on my own.

Can you describe your top 3 goals you had before starting?

- My main goal before starting at strength camp was to change my lifestyle. I became a dad a few months before I joined and didn’t want to be a fat, lazy dad so I decided it was best if I went back to being fit like I was during my early 20s. I guess my other two goals were to lose weight and gain strength.

Can you list your achievements you’ve had since beginning at Strength Camp?

- Since joining, I’ve lost about 35-40 pounds, my everyday energy level is much higher, and I have gained a significant amount of muscle on my legs and some upper body. I feel great!

What compliments have you received since joining?

- My family and friends have told me I look much better than I did anywhere from a year to two years ago. People I play soccer with have told me I’m starting to run and play like my old self again. Little things here and there.

What is the biggest obstacle you’ve faced in your journey?

- Injuries. Not exactly at the gym but during my time I’ve injured my shoulder, torn my hamstring and pulled my quad. Luckily, now I feel fully recovered and I’m ready to push a little harder.

What is your favorite thing about Strength Camp? What makes it unique from other gyms?

- My favorite thing are the trainers. They teach properly and thoroughly, motivate you when needed and they show care to every single of their members. The program makes it unique from other gyms. I’ve had personal training at other gyms before, but none have had the “Speed” section in their program, it’s a 20-minute circuit where you can really kick it up a notch.

What is your least favorite thing about Strength Camp?

- the classes are only an hour! It’s a fun environment to be in and some days it feels that an hour is just too short.

Who would you recommend Strength Camp to?

- Anyone who is trying to challenge themselves. All while getting stronger, losing weight and improving their lifestyle. Also, anyone who would like to make connections with the great members.

What does it mean to you to grow stronger?

- It means everything. My legs have always been fairly strong from playing soccer but gaining overall strength has been awesome and I will continue to work hard on getting stronger. I’m not going to stop until I can squat, deadlift and bench more than Eric!
