- I joined June 2022.
- I joined Strength Camp looking for a gym that would help me achieve my goals. I struggled to find a gym that aligned with what I wanted. I’ve had experience with commercial gyms in the past, but I wanted a program where I would see actual results.
- Looking back at the notes log I made when I started, I have doubled each of the weights I first started with. One thing I enjoy the most is being able to try new exercises and touch weights I never thought I could. It's also motivating to lift and surpass weights that I struggled with when I first started.
- “Damn boy you shit with that ass?”
- The biggest obstacle is me. I had to unlearn the previous limitations I had on myself that prevented me from lifting heavy. The number one thing I had to remind myself was to not compare myself with others. Ego lifting led me to get injured early on, but since then, I have learned to listen to my own body and learn that challenging yourself and overexerting yourself is not the same. I owe it to all the coaches for constantly improving my form and pushing me to do more and do it better.
- My favorite thing about Strength Camp is constantly challenging myself with a variety of exercises. I can confidently say there hasn’t been a day since joining Strength Camp that I did not look forward to. I’m always excited to come in with a great community encouraging and motivating me.
- I used to believe growing stronger solely correlated to the weight I carry, but it really is a constant journey of trial and error. I now focus more on allowing myself to fail and learn. As long as you stick with a solid routine, the results will follow.
- Strength Camp is perfect for all levels of fitness. I would recommend Strength Camp to anyone trying to improve on their form and technique on lifting or anyone who thrives in a group environment. *What is your least favorite thing about Strength Camp?- Nothing!
