• What made you decide to join Strength Camp SF, and what drew you to our gym?

- I joined Strength Camp because I wanted to learn how to lift heavy weights with proper technique. I wanted a gym with experienced coaches so I wouldn’t have to worry about doing the exercises wrong.

•  What were you hoping to achieve or change in your life when you first joined?

- I was hoping to become stronger overall, whether in physical strength, endurance, or mental resilience. That way, I could feel more capable in everyday activities which would lead to a better quality of life.

•  Before starting at Strength Camp SF, what were your top three fitness goals?

1. Improve my physical health

2. Become stronger by putting on muscle

3. Have better mental endurance

•  Since joining, what achievements are you most proud of, and why do they matter to you?

- By the third month, I was noticing increased muscle size as well as performing higher reps with heavier weights. I didn’t think I’d achieve these so fast, as I’ve never lifted before joining Strength Camp. I can also do more pushups and pull-ups now.

•  What compliments or positive feedback have you received since joining Strength Camp SF?

- “You look a lot stronger now”

- “You’ve been going to the gym more often haven’t you?”

- “Your clothes fit so much better”

•  What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced in your journey?

- I was a bit intimidated at the beginning, as I was new to weightlifting when most people around me already had experience. But I quickly got over that the more I showed up to class. Luckily, Strength Camp is the kind of gym you can always look forward to going to.

•  What’s your favorite thing about Strength Camp SF, and what makes it stand out from other gyms?

- My favorite part about Strength Camp are the coaches and how great they are in setting up the exercises. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be able to push myself to do better. I also enjoy the strong sense of community that this gym has. It’s good to see friendly and familiar faces who encourage you to do your best in lifting.

•  Is there anything you would improve about Strength Camp SF to make the experience better for you?

- It’s hard to get parking sometimes which is why I recommend getting there early before class starts.

•  Who do you think would benefit most from joining Strength Camp and why?

- I highly recommend Strength Camp to beginners because of the excellent training the coaches provide. I’m still a bit of a beginner myself, but have learned so much already about lifting while also getting stronger each week.

•  What does “growing stronger” mean to you?

- To me, "growing stronger" means becoming the best possible version of myself in all areas of life, not just physically - but also by eating better, learning more, and overcoming obstacles to achieve my goals.
